Each year consists of twelve, month-long block rotations. Residents have varying schedules, with each providing an excellent foundation in general surgery and subspecialty care. The goal of the General Surgery Residency is to provide residents with graduated responsibilities in the primary components of General Surgery. In addition, it will give them appropriate experience in subspecialties required.
